Are you looking for a calm, loving, and easy-going companion to share your days with? Meet Coco, a beautiful 9-year-old female Yorkshire Terrier looking for a new family in Cape Town. Weighing a perfect 4.6kg, Coco is a sweet-natured senior who absolutely adores people and will happily melt into your lap for endless tummy rubs.

Coco is finding herself in need of a new home simply because her current family is moving to a much smaller apartment. She is the absolute perfect houseguest! Coco is fully housetrained, exceptionally well-socialized, and gets along brilliantly with everyone. She is excellent with children, good with other dogs, and even lives peacefully with a cat in her current home. She is a low-maintenance, quiet girl who isn't much of a barker.

  • Age: 9 years old

  • Temperament: Sweet, easy-going, quiet, and very affectionate. She loves to eat her meals slowly, in her own time.

  • Good with Dogs: Yes, she is good with other dogs.

  • Good with Cats: Yes! She is currently friends with a cat at home.

  • Good with Children: Excellent. She does very well with kids.

  • Housetraining: Fully housetrained.

  • Leash Training: She is leash trained, but at 9 years old, she prefers taking things slow and can be a bit "lazy" on walks. She is looking for leisurely strolls rather than hikes!

  • Health/Special Needs: She is in good health and recently had a dental scale, polish, and extractions (April 2024), so her teeth are fresh and clean!

  • Ideal Home: A relaxed, loving home that wants a cuddly companion. Because she is so adaptable, she would fit into almost any loving family dynamic.
