🐶 Meet Clyde – A Gentle, Loving Senior Gentleman Looking for Soft Hearts and Soft Food
Clyde is a precious 10-year-old Senior Yorkshire Terrier who finds himself in search of a new home under very heartbreaking circumstances. His beloved family member has sadly passed away, leaving him and his companion, Jane, in need of a fresh start. Clyde is an incredibly sweet, quiet little soul who is currently looking for a gentle, understanding home where he can feel safe again.
Because of his age and deep attachment, Clyde is very closely bonded to Jane (who is also looking for her forever home). We are desperately seeking a special, loving family in the Western Cape who will open their hearts to both of them, allowing this sweet pair to stay together. Clyde is a bit more of an introvert than Jane, preferring to observe his surroundings quietly, but his capacity for love is absolutely endless once he knows he is safe.
This little gentleman weighs only about 2.6 kg and has naturally sensitive skin and experiences some hair thinning as a result. He does best with a gentle, specialised shampoo and a little extra care with his coat and skin. Due to his age, Clyde does have some missing teeth and dental issues, meaning he requires a diet of very soft food—such as finely shredded white chicken pieces and softened Yorkie pellets. He is generally believed to be healthy, though he has no known veterinary history, so his new family will need to help him get up to date.

Housetraining: Still needs to be confirmed in his new environment.
Health/Special Needs: Clyde has missing teeth and dental issues; he requires very soft food (softened pellets and white chicken pieces).
