🐶 Meet Jane – The Playful Heart of a Sweet Bonded Pair
Meet Jane, a gorgeous 3-year-old female Yorkie currently in Kraaifontein, Western Cape. Jane is an absolute bundle of love who is incredibly affectionate, cheerful, and always ready to put a smile on your face. Tragically, Jane and her best friend Clyde found themselves in need of a new home after their beloved family member sadly passed away. Because they have been through so much together and share an unbreakable bond, we are looking for a special home where they can be adopted together as a bonded pair.
Jane is the more outgoing and playful of the duo. Despite her recent loss, her sweet spirit shines through in everything she does. At approximately 4.4 kg, she is currently a little cuddly and overweight, so she will need a family committed to helping her gently and gradually increase her daily exercise. She isn't used to walking on a lead just yet, but with some patient guidance and positive reinforcement, she'll surely get the hang of it! She is also a clever girl who is highly motivated by her favorite meals of white chicken pieces and Yorkie pellets.
As a young, curious Yorkie, Jane is an escape artist in the making. She will actively look for gaps in fences or open gates, so a home with excellent security is a must. She also needs supervision around swimming pools. She is generally wonderful with other dogs and is believed to be good with children, making her a fantastic addition to a gentle, loving family who can give her the time and patience she deserves to settle.

Temperament: Extremely loving, playful, and social. She is the more active and playful of her bonded pair.
Good with Dogs: Generally good. She is very social and must be adopted with her bonded partner, Clyde.
Good with Cats: Unknown / not tested.
Good with Children: Believed to be good with children.
Housetraining: Still needs to be confirmed in her new environment.
Health/Special Needs: Not sterilized yet. There is no known vaccination or veterinary history available. Jane has reportedly experienced brief, unexplained “fits” when she becomes very excited. These episodes have never been assessed by a vet and have not been recently witnessed, but her new family must be willing to monitor her and seek veterinary guidance if needed.
Ideal Home: A patient, gentle, and secure home with high fencing and secure gates to prevent escape. Her new family must adopt her alongside Clyde, be willing to manage her gradual weight-loss exercise program, supervise her around pools, and be understanding of her reported excitement-induced episodes.
