🐶 Meet Clyde & Jane – The Dynamic Duo Ready to Steal Your Heart
Meet Clyde (10 years old) and Jane (4 years old), an utterly adorable duo currently looking for their forever home together in Observatory, Cape Town. Clyde is a tiny, 2kg boy with a big, feisty personality. He may be toothless and have light coat coverage, but he makes up for it with endless affection! He loves burrowing under blankets on the couch or bed, prompting you for head scratches, and rolling over for tummy tickles. Jane is a clever, highly sociable little girl who thrives on cuddles, loves playing fetch with her toys, and does a joyful little spin before jumping up to greet you.
Unfortunately, their natural chasing instincts are far too strong whenever cats move, making a cat-free home an absolute requirement. They are otherwise wonderful, loving household companions who sleep peacefully through thunderstorms and adore spending human time together.
Clyde and Jane are used to having someone around most of the day and will do best in a home where they won't be left alone for long periods. If you are looking for double the love, joy, and lap cuddles, this darling pair is ready to welcome you into their hearts!

💖 Clyde & Jane's Personality and Needs
Age: Clyde is 10 years old; Jane is 4 years old
Temperament: Deeply affectionate, cuddly, and human-oriented. Clyde is a tiny lap-burrower who loves head and tummy rubs. Jane is smart, playful, loves fetch, and joins you under the duvet until she gets warm.
Good with Dogs: Jane is excellent with other dogs. Clyde can be territorial around other male dogs.
Good with Cats: Not good with cats. (Strict boundary: high chase instinct).
Good with Children: Excellent.
Housetraining: In progress / Not fully house-trained. Clyde marks indoors occasionally, and Jane can have excitement urination when greeting guests. Neither likes going outside in the rain.
Health/Special Needs: Not Sterilized (Standard SA Yorkie Rescue procedures apply). Clyde is toothless (requires softened kibble or small food pieces) and has sparse hair since pup hood (gets salmon oil). Both received 3-month Bravecto treatments in October. No other health issues reported.
Ideal Home: Strictly cat-free environment with secure perimeter fencing/gates (they can be escape artists). Mealtimes should be supervised as Jane likes to steal food. A home where someone is around often is ideal.
